ACHA D3 Coaching Staff Named

The University of Delaware Men's hockey program is proud to announce UD Hockey alums Brandon Weiner and Chris Galgano as the coaches for the inaugural season ACHA D3 men's team.

Brandon Weiner, a 2010 graduate of the University of Delaware, was a four-year defenseman, and two-year team captain of the UD Hockey team, and helped lead UD to the Frozen Four in 2011.  Prior to his time at UD, Coach Weiner was an up and coming player through the New Jersey junior programs before completing his secondary schooling and hockey at the renowned Lawrenceville School (NJ).

Chris Galgano, a 2011 graduate of the University of Delaware, is originally from Valley Stream, NY and came to hockey prominance in the New York Bobcats (AJHL) junior program before his years as a four-year defensemen and one-year assistant captain and also led UD to its first ACHA D1 national title in program history.

The UD Hockey program welcomes Coaches Weiner and Galgano into its coaching ranks and looks forward to a very successful first season and bright future.
